Louisiana has cannabis medically however it's extremely over priced and people have to pay $99 every month just to be able to purchase the medicine which is also $150-$250 for a months medication. Decriminalization would bring in tax revenue which can be utilized for the next two issues I have.  Unemployment benefits in Louisiana are horrible the maximum weekly benefits are $227 and I as well as many Louisiana workers have faced the rising cost of living with a state unwilling to take care of it's hard working people and the benefits need to be in my opinion at least $300 per week. Right now I am receiving $161 a week and it's impossible to live with that income. My next point is that minimum wage needs to be $15 an hour and this is simply criminal to still have a minimum wage of less than $8 an hour. I truly hope this makes an impact because all most of us can do is try to stay positive and not lose our values simply because those in power have lost there own because of greed and they're not having a perspective on these issues that we the people have because they are not affected by the issues. If Louisiana would tax and legalize cannabis it would solve the two other issues and it would lower the taxes for locking up cannabis users. This could self perpetuate all three of the issues into being solved financially and this state would be able to progress and prosper.
