Every year public schools either do not give school off on Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur, or they do give school off but assign homework and tests. In 2018 the majority of human kind is spreading the world about equality no matter your race, religion, gender, or sexuality. Jews are being discriminated against by having to study and worry about homework being done rather than enjoying the biggest holiday of the year with their family. To help fix the issue we would like to propose a change, no homework assigned for the day/weekend of Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur, and no school on the day of. If you wouldn’t give it on Christmas than don’t give it on our New Years. Thank you.
