On June 10th, 2015, Joel Roston published a rather brilliant blog post about Janis Joplin's rendition of "Me and Bobby McGee", specifically what Joel calls "the end sort-of scat-singing part". In the post, Mr. Roston provides a thoroughly accurate "lyrical-transcription" of Ms. Joplin's vocalizations.

Mr. Roston also reveals that he, along with audio engineer Scott Craggs, attempted to record his own version of this classic vocalization. Unfortunately, for reasons unmentioned, this audio recording was not included in the blog post.

We, the undersigned, believe that this audio recording would serve as a great enhancement to the blog post. Posting the recording would have direct educational and entertainment value to fans of both Mr. Roston's and Ms. Joplin's musical abilities. This is an ethnomusicological document that the world deserves to hear.

Mr. Roston: please post your audio rendition of "the end sort-of scat-singing part" of Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee."

Addendum: should the original recordings be deemed unsuitable for public consumption, we, the undersigned, will instead accept the release of a *new* recording of Mr. Roston singing "the end sort-of scat-singing part" of Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee" as a compromise, as the initial pseudo-promise of the original blog post would, in this case, still be fulfilled.
