The For the People Act, S 1 in the Senate, is one piece of legislation that can overturn the ongoing attempts by Republican state legislatures to restrict voting access in 2022. Democratic Senators Manchin and Sinema want to wait until there is bipartisan support in the Senate, but that will never happen.

Those elected Republicans are still supporting the Big Lie that the election of Joe Biden was stolen. They even chastise any of their members who dare to stray from their dogma.

Tell these 2 Democrats to bypass the filibuster, at least for this bill, to save our democracy. It will outlaw the kinds of voter suppression taking place in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and many other states, and regain access to the ballot for all adult citizens.

This bill has strong bipartisan support among Americans, but not among members of the Senate. Republican senators are more concerned about being reelected than representing their constituents' preferences. They would rather use all the methods described in this bill to bypass the will of the people and undermine our democracy.
