Watson elementary school and the Marion county board of education is allowing children to be mistreated, bullied, and are not holding EACH child accountable for their actions. This school picks and choses which children the rules apply to and who won’t receive equal punishment for hurting another student. My child was stabbed with a pencil by a little girl a month ago..my son picked up his pencil to stab her back but decided NOT to and put his pencil down. Both students receive structured lunch! My son made a good choice by not harming the little girl back and received the same punishment as the one THAT used a pencil as a weapon to hurt my child. I contacted the board of education and demanded that child be suspended and  they said it all depends on if the child has been in trouble before….no suspicion was ever given to the child that stabbed mine…a week later a different child hits my son and he hits her back he gets kicked out of school because they have a “no hitting policy” so tell me why the girl from the week before wasn’t suspended!!! This shows they play favoritism because it if had been my black son that stabbed another child with a pencil he would have most definitely been suspended!!! This school needs to hold each child accountable for their actions and give out punishment fairly! I’ve talked to several parents that has had similar situations happen to their child! Please help me make this school and the Marion county board of education do their jobs correctly and stop allowing children to be mistreated!! It could be your child!
