We, the undersigned, petition Joe Lacob, Peter Guber and the Warriors’ Management to:

Work with the City of Oakland in good faith to find a solution that preserves the Warriors’ longstanding Oakland partnership and keeps the Warriors in Oakland

We are loyal Warriors’ fans who have stuck by this team for decades and have formed the pillar of this team’s success.

We are a proud City and a determined City – we’ve filled the Oracle Arena through the darkest of times and now, in the best of times. We’ve been here because we love the Warriors, and we are loyal to the Warriors– even when the team was giving us little reasons to be.

We are proud of this City’s longstanding partnership with the Warriors and are disappointed in the Warriors’ management, which has all but written off this City with a move to San Francisco – a move away from our great City and this loyal, unwavering East Bay fan base.

We believe there are opportunities for the Warriors to remain in Oakland – either by retrofitting the Oracle Arena, or identifying alternate sites, such as the Port of Oakland, which can give the team everything it needs and then some.

Just like the Warriors did on the court this season, we are committed to the fight to keep the Warriors in Oakland, even if that means expending every bit of ourselves to make sure the team stays where it belongs – in Oakland.   

We respectfully demand that Joe Lacob, Peter Guber and the Warriors’ management work in good faith with the City of Oakland to find a stadium solution that preserves the Warriors’ longstanding partnership and KEEPS THE WARRIORS IN OAKLAND!
