I am starting a petition to make a law against unpaid time for truck drivers sitting at shippers and receivers for atleast 2 hours and greater.My husband is a truck driver and I have witnessed first hand just how long truck drivers across America will sit for many wasted hours waiting for a door to load or unload.Ive seen him wait for long wasted hours.Customers do not care how many hours they are stuck there waiting without food or drink and sometimes bathrooms.Many companies drivers work for do not pay for these hours lost.Time they could be driving or time for themselves.On top of that their HOS (Hours of service)are also affected.So they loose time they have to drive.

I believe this inhumane and should be regulated or stopped.Shippers or recievers charging 500$ to trucking companies for their driver being late when they themselves hold the driver up for 8 hours is ridicoulous. Anybody who wishes to help me stop this unregulated nonsense please share this petition.i would greatly appreciate it and so will the Truck Drivers of America...….
