Laurie Mann started this petition to President Joe Biden

The United States has been holding Latif Nasser prisoner without a trial since December 15, 2001. He was approved for release in 2016 when a US tribunal heard his case, declared that he was not a threat, and cleared him to go back to his home in Morocco.  He is now technically a free man, since every US government department required cleared him and signed off on his release in 2016, yet he remains stuck at Guantanamo Bay, thanks to the Obama administration dragging their heels on the paperwork prior to Obama leaving office, and complete inaction on the case since then by the Trump administration.  Now on his third President since he was supposed to be released, Latif is still languishing in the Guantanamo prison.  The story of Latif’s ordeal is chronicled in the excellent RadioLab podcast “The Other Latif”:

Listen to the story, and then please sign this petition to ask Donald Trump to do the right thing and fix Obama’s mistake in not releasing Latif.
