I was a resident of Woolton for the first 22 years of my life. The open spaces of Woolton Woods were the only large green spaces for walking and ball games. They need to be protected not developed. Develop in the central brownfield sites !!!

I'm signing because public community green spaces which provide biodiversity for nature are essential for humans and nature alike and should be protected at all costs.

I was brought up in Woolton and still live in the area. It is appalling the council's blatant disregard for not only preserving green recreational spaces (which are ever decreasing) for the community but ignoring the specific wishes of the generous and honourable man who bequeathed such land to benefit the residents of Woolton and the city as a whole for generations to come. The city council is a disgrace and the decision makers should hang their heads in shame.
