OUSD mismanagement of School Funds

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Ousd has been known for being in incredible debt. Just in this last year, OUSD is in debt by $9 million, according to OUSD. We, as students, teachers, and parents are frustrated that administration pay is prioritized over the needs of students. OUSD has put itself in a tremendous money crisis over the years due to accounting errors. They have also been asking for more money rather than paying back what they owe right away and solving the problem when it comes to them. Why should students and teachers have to suffer from others' mistakes? Administration is over staffed and receive large salaries. We demand you reevaluate the way you spend your money and focus on kids who are depending on you to give them an education. We demand you distribute funding to reduce bloated administration salaries and create an environment students can thrive in by reducing class sizes, raising teacher wage, and providing more materials to support kids rather than treating them as an afterthought.
