KEEP “JMA ARMSTRONG” IN OUR SCHOOL

KEEP “JMA ARMSTRONG” IN OUR SCHOOL
As a proud past student of JMA Armstrong High School in Salisbury, NB, where all my children currently attend school as well, I was very surprised and saddened to hear the name of our local high school will be changing in 2022. Stripping this earned and well deserved title from a Master Educator from our small community is uncalled for. This title was awarded in 1981 to John Melvin Adair Armstrong (1907-1997) for the positive influence he made on our community. He was the principle for 18 years of SRHS. He started Air cadets in our community.
Please read on about the man who’s name is proudly on our school and sign below if you think the school needs to keep his namesake.
