Ma'Lik Richmond was a 16 year old at a party and made what would be the biggest mistake of his life to date. He was sentenced to spend time in a juvenile justice system for sexually assaulting an intoxicated 16 year old young lady. There were many young ladies and young men there who took part in many unlawful things that happened that evening. Ma'Lik was brought to court for his actions and sentenced. Not only was he embarrassed by his actions and the grief he caused his family and friends but was tormented daily by his thoughts for the pain he put the young lady through. I do not know Ma'Lik nor his family but I am outraged by the outpouring of hatred by adults because he was asked to (FIVE years later) join the football team while attending YSU. This young man is trying to move on and make something of himself and if he wishes to partake in extracurricular activities, it is not UNLAWFUL! Shunning him sending negativity and hatred his way is not helping him turn himself into a productive human being who can contribute to society! "Let He/She who has not sinned cast the first stone!"
