The dress code promotes rape culture and sexualizes minors. This isn't right. Almost every woman I know has been dresscoded at Adams. Insisting that minors' bodies are "distracting" promotes rape culture. The only people I've ever seen "distracted" by minors' bodies are teachers. Telling minors to change because men will get distracted is promoting rape culture. It is never the victims fault. Instead of telling women to change, teach men to respect women and their bodies. We are not sexual objects, or here for your pleasure and aesthetic. Dress codes are objectifying women and only taking steps backwards.
