As many of you know, and as the basis of many families’ migration to Jim Ned, we are currently a conservative school system. The residents of this area have worked diligently with our teachers and administrators to create a wholesome environment where children can get an education that is second to none.

In creating the environment that has become an insane draw for families from surrounding school districts as well as those out of the area and out of state, many tried and true rules and regulations have been put into practice. These codes and edicts have been proven to maintain decorum and an environment that fosters positive change in the lives of our kiddos. without them, we would be entering a slippery slope that ends with an absolute trainwreck that is precisely what a great many of us fled in other areas to get here.  We do not want to see our school district regress to the level of those which we left in search of greener pastures. 
Those of us signing this petition know that change is inevitable. We agree that there is freedom to dress however and do whatever you like at home and outside of school. We also agree that, in a world of “anything goes”, our schools need to remain a place of reason.
