They are world champions and Jet Airways treated them “like terrorists!”
Anjali Bhagwat and Heena Sidhu are World Shooting Champions. They were on their way back to India from Bangkok, when Jet Airways refused to let them board the flight for carrying guns. They were stuck at the airport for 9 hours.
As an Indian woman, I’m furious that two women athletes were put through such an ordeal. Sign my petition asking Jet Airways to immediately apologise to National Athletes Heena Sindhu and Anjali Bhagwat for horrible service and treatment.
Heena and Anjali had proper documentation, their gun license and even a letter from the Sports Authority of India and yet Jet airways did not let them board.
What was worse, the jet security manager at the Bangkok Airport walked off without answering any questions or offering a solution.
This is not the way the airline should have treated our two world champion shooters who have brought pride and glory to India. I’m disgusted by Jet Airways behaviour.
Sign my petition demanding Jet Airways immediately apologises to our World Champions.
Jet Airways is sensitive about their public image. If thousands sign my petition, they will start taking their consumers seriously and won’t be able to ignore our demand.
Demand that Jet Airways apologise to our World Champions immediately! Sign my petition.
