Working with you for a leafy Lurline Street!

Imagine how magnificent these trees, planted early last century - and removed mid-century - would look today.

Lurline Street is the gateway to the Three Sisters at Echo Point, one of the nation’s most visited tourist attractions and a designated Aboriginal Place.

Currently, Lurline Street is in a state of disrepair. Tourists are mystified why this important thoroughfare is so run down. So are we.

Local residents and groups have come together to support and help find government funding for shelved Council plans to landscape Lurline Street.

Our shared idea is for an avenue of trees with seating to provide shade, shelter and seasonal colour for people and wildlife.

Together we can make a real difference – for ourselves and future generations.

Sign our petition, share it with others, and support us in our commitment in the beautification of Lurline Street.
