Your support is needed!!  Jersey City, A thriving modern city that has a well built and sustainable infrastructure is in dire need of a reform for electrical vehicles and charging facilities which will aide the city’s “Make it green” initiative. As many property owners who have established properties in Jersey City that would like to own a EV do not have the charging capability on their property simple because Jersey city has banned curb cuts for properties that do not have enclosed parking. 

We as a city need to reform this zoning law to allow property owners whom have an EV and wish to charge on their property may do so even if the building does not have an enclosed parking space, but do have sufficient front yard area to park a vehicle(s).

In support in parking relief that incorporates logic along with favoring Jersey City's overall goal of reaching a more sustainable Eco-friendly creative solution that rewards folks for taking the large step towards moving away from gas/fossil fuel we will need to build support to enable property owners to own EVs and have the convenience to charge their vehicles on their own property rather than sub-par public charging infrastructure that cannot support the wave of new EV owners within the city.
