Help Sweetleaf Collective!
Feb 12, 2018 — We need your help!
Sweetleaf Collective has been providing free medical cannabis to low-income HIV/AIDS and cancer patients since 1996, in San Francisco.
Since January 1st, 2018, we have had to stop our program due to new California State law (Prop. 64). More than 150 patients are now being kept from their life saving medicine.
We need to raise funds because this issue is so important and time sensitive. Lives are on the line. The longer it takes to solve this problem, the more patients will be put at risk.
Donations are being raised:
-to pay for lawyers to advise us on how we can reopen and provide free medical cannabis to those most in need.
-to pay for our expenses like web hosting, phone bills, printing flyers, and our public education campaign.
Our patients really need this medicine. They are living on fixed incomes and are unable to purchase medical cannabis. It is incredibly important for us to be able to continue our project. Without Sweetleaf, many of these patients would have no access to marijuana.
You can help now by giving to our cause! Thank you in advance for donating and sharing this campaign on social media to spread the word. No donation is too small and every dollar helps.
