Changing the 2015 CDC new head lice policy in schools.....We want a No nit policy.

I recently learned about the new law that was set forth in 2015 through the CDC and schools in California about the nit policy when my daughters preschool class had an outbreak of lice. I have to say I am appalled at the shear disregard of other students being affected by this. With the new strain of super lice this is more than just a is a financial burden on families that have to deal with this. Over the counter remedies no longer work. The cetaphil treatment doesn’t work. This is the second time in 3 weeks my child has come home with head lice due to 1 child being allowed to stay with eggs in her hair. Where there are eggs there are bugs. As most parents with children that have been affected by their children being subjected to this and that have contracted head lice they hide and are not easily seen. I’m asking for change....we need to go back to the no nit policy......they say that this new law was supposed to help keep kids in school so they don’t miss so many days of school but really it’s not. Because of the outbreaks many kids are subject to it and contract it. So it’s way more kids missing school when an outbreak occurs. Please sign my petition to get this change for the children and families that are like minded. We want a no nit policy back in our schools.
