Modified schedule on Fridays should allow zero hour students to get out at 2:23.

On super fast Fridays at Bentonville West High School, when there is a special event, classes are shortened even more than usual. Sixth hour then goes until 2:40 instead of the usual 2:23. Especially for students who have an important place to be at a certain time after the original release time of zero hour on Fridays, sixth hour should not be extended until 2:40. Regular hour students get to leave at the same time they normally do, but zero hour students, by no choice of their own, have to stay longer than usual. With fast Fridays already creating shortened classes, a modified schedule prevents most teachers from accomplishing anything in 32 minute classes, limiting the academic success every time there is a special event. Student jobs, athletics, academics, and time efficiency are all affected. We could have the special event during one of the lunches. That allows two lunch times to eat and one lunch time for the event. This would keep the meeting to contain only the most important things, and keep out unnecessary excess.
