We, the undersigned, believe that Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy should be made available on the NHS for children with cerebral palsy. This operation has been proven to be effective in helping children to walk and live a pain-free life. In the UK, the NHS routinely pays for boob jobs and gastric bands, yet says that SDR is not sufficiently cost-effective. We say our kids ARE worth it. And we ask that you conduct an urgent review of current policy on SDR. If you don't help these children, then what is our NHS for?
