Stop John Woodcock MP from Standing for Labour on 8 June

John Woodcock, the MP for Barrow and Furness in Cumbria has said he will seek re-selection from his party but "will not countenance ever voting to make Jeremy Corbyn Britain's prime minister" in a video message to constituents. Apart from showing lack of understanding of the British voting system, this is a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of the Labour Party nationally and sabotage its electoral chances. His position is tantamount to campaigning against the party and he should be suspended.

If John Woodcock doesn't want people to vote for Labour, he should step down as a Labour member and stand as an independent candidate, so as not to benefit from the Labour name while actively damaging the Party's image.
