EasyJet are a no frills airline, we all know this, you pay for what you get.
But what happen when you pay and do not get nothing??????????
When professionals working people take well-earned annual leave that they have had to work out between 6 other people in the office, plan a holiday more than 6 months in advance, it’s the only time that kids have off school, and the dates chosen are now fixed.
Why can a company you book a flight with well in advance (our case 6 months) then cancel your flight with the following explanation:
When cancellations are not within our control they’re classified under EU law as ‘extraordinary circumstances’. An example of this would be air traffic control strikes or bad weather. As your flight cancellation was caused by Air Traffic Control restrictions, this is an extraordinary circumstance, so unfortunately you are not eligible for compensation under article 7 of EU261/2004.
EASYJET I disagree. on our date of flying you cancelled 6 (late) flights - They told us at the time, their staff were grounded due to flying their maximum hours???? THEY also stated that we would get back compensation etc. As you can see from the paragraph above, they have now changed they minds and have gone back on their word.
PLEASE MAKE EASYJET LIVE UP TO THEY PROMISES.
