Form a progressive soft Brexit alliance in the UK General Election.

Theresa May wants to have a UK General Election in June. She claims that the country is united, and wants to use the election to push through a hard Brexit, bringing the UK out of the single market, and leaving the rights of EU citizens & UK citizens elsewhere in the EU open to negotiation.
This is a chance to show her that the UK is not united behind a hard Brexit. I would like to call on the leaders of the Labour, Lib Dem and Green Parties to work together to put forward one anti hard Brexit candidate in each constituency. That would give everyone a real vote and a real choice on the future of the country. Without this, the anti hard Brexit vote will be divided, and Theresa May will get her way.
Please sign and share this petition to urge progressive parties to work together to oppose a hard Brexit. There is no mandate at the moment for Theresa May to remove the UK from the single market, or to deny rights to EU citizens in the UK/UK citizens in Europe. Please don't allow her to win a divided election which will enable her to claim that mandate. This is too important a moment for other voices not to be heard.
