Amnesty for Nigerians who have stayed for more than 10 years!
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
We are urging fellow Nigerians to add their voice to the ongoing campaign to grant amnesty to the nationals of the other Commonwealth countries who have remained in the U.K. for at least 10 years, after the revelation of the Windrush scandal. Most Nigerians in the U.K. have spent over 10 years of their lives here, but the punitive and hostile immigration laws have robbed them of the opportunity to apply for leave to remain under any of the categories within the immigration laws. Most Nigerians has contributed to the economy of this country and the society as a whole. Most Nigerians are well-respected citizens who have lived their lives well in the UK without any criminal convictions.
We urge our leaders to rise and fight for the interests of their citizens. If the Caribbean leaders had kept quiet over the mistreatment and the inhuman and the degrading treatment meted to their citizens by the U.K. Government, the scandalous issues and the extreme injustice surrounding the Windrush would have been ignored.
Please help us support this course by signing the petition, together we are stronger and we can stop the injustice targeted at our people.
Thank you for your support.
