Childhood Cancer Awareness Christmas Tree At Rockefeller Center

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

I am a childhood cancer survivor of Stage 3 Unilateral Wilms tumor. I was diagnosed on March 2, 1989 at age 2½, and March 2019 will be my 30th "cancerversary." There are SO many children and families who have been directly impacted by childhood cancer of several kinds... and awareness is essential so funding can be appropriated towards research for cures. Children love Christmas... sadly, many of them have left us... and many more will... so Christmas, for many of these families, will never be the same again. We need to make cures for childhood cancer a top, international priority, and I strongly believe that this will be a fine way to start.

Never say never. My parents were once those parents who said, "Not my kid." All of that changed in the blink of an eye. Many more parents will face this same reality.

Awareness leads to research, and research leads to cures. Please sign my petition to have a special tree erected at Rockefeller Center in New York City for children who are battling cancer. With love, from a childhood cancer survivor to all of YOU. THANK YOU!
