Seattle Parking Enforcement is still out giving tickets while we are abiding by Gov Jay Inslee’s Stay Home Stay Safe order. The city of Seattle has suspended the abandoned vehicle rule, but they are still ticketing all other parking violations. People are losing wages, they’re sick, essential workers are doing enough. We should not be worried about moving our cars. Some of us are not sheltering where we expected. Some of us can’t afford the tickets. If Seattle can suspend a 72 hour law, they can suspend all the timed parking laws as well. Not booting or towing cars is not enough when the financial impact of a ticket(s) is still present. Please sign this and urge Mayor Jenny Durkan to call for a freeze on parking tickets while we are dealing with Covid-19. 

I still support enforcing handicap spaces, giving fire hydrants the proper space & other safety issues. This is about keeping Seattle’s people safe monetarily, physically, and mentally.
