Student suicide is a serious growing issue that takes thousands of people each day and is predicted to increase within the next few years. This is a serious problem that has reached the students of Neshaminy High School. The school used to have healthy and supportive outlets like the Sanctuary Room and the annual Challenge Day that students could use when they needed emotional help. These sources of help have since been cut and the students have been left to fend for themselves with little help from the guidance department which is not enough. Administration is reluctant to talk about the issue of suicide openly and as a result, students that have passed are also going unnoticed and any type of memorial requests by families in the past have been refused. Sign this to bring back things like Challenge Day and the Sanctuary Room while bringing awareness to student suicides. Help us build a supportive system within our school and show that every student is important and deserves to be remembered. You matter. You will be heard. #OURschoolOURvoice
