Citizens of Jefferson County, Colorado. We have been dealing with COVID-19 for the last 20+ months. We have all dealt with Mask mandates from May 2020-May 2021. The numbers of positive cases have the highest rates with Mask mandates in place vs dates without mask mandates. on November 24, 2021, Jefferson county imposed yet another mandate. Jefferson county has over 582k citizens. Of those, 72,800 have tested positive. JeffCo health services also says that 1,055 have passed away from COVID-19 (in a 20 month timeframe). They also say on their website that JeffCo normally sees more than 4,600 deaths per year. Therefore in the same timeframe, roughly 7,700 people would have died from OTHER causes. The numbers do not add up and I believe your signature of this petition will help put a stop to the mandates on businesses and citizens of Jefferson County
