The Test-To-Play act was passed on 10/7/2021. The day this is being written. The board did not accept outside criticism, or input. The issue of this is how will this affect teams who parents will not let their child get tested or those who simply do not want to be tested every week. The result is easy to see; teams will collapse, forfeit will happen and more. Some people get serious allergy issues and thus this can cause issues when teams will have a match and more. 

This is important to me as I am the Team Captain of my team and every single person on my team either won't be allowed to test or do not want to. Which with that causes us to have to forfeit with 4 games left of the season. We do not want that as we want to be able to go to the finals. They didn't even consider the sports that already social distance and are not a contact sport, why would they need to get tested when there is no need due to the manner of these sports teams. 

In correlation to everything I refer you to the Bill of Rights, Article 4. 

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. "

This is where the innocent until proven guilty phrase originates from. And we if we think about this test to play, it's forcing us to get tested in order to play which could be considered as guilty until innocent which is now how we do things here. Also the testing for some makes people unsecure in their persons as they are forcefully being searched for the virus. We have done nothing to warrant this because why are just the extracurriculars being forced to be tested why not the entirety of the school if they care so much about the virus being spread, in all honesty being in normal classes has more chance to spread than being with your extracurricular.
