Starting in the 2018-2019 school year, Weddington High school had a 30 minute period in between first and second block during which they could catch up on school work, communicate with teachers and other students, work on bettering our grades, or participate in recreational activities in the gym if we wished so long as our grades met a certain standard. After the 2019-2020 school year Warrior Block was removed from the school day and has not been brought back. The students of Weddington High school respectfully seek to bring this 30 minute period back, and we are appealing to our principal, Dr. Jeff Kraftson, as well as our school administration to reinstate this block.
