Reasons to reduce Carbon Emissions Nationwide:

1. Life on Earth won’t be cut short.

2. Our air will be clean.

3. Heat will no longer be trapped in our atmosphere.-this also goes for planting more trees and to leave trees alone that are already in your environment!!

4. Sea levels will stop rising rapidly.

Here are some ways to reduce Carbon Emissions Nationwide:

1. Turn off lights you are not using.- it also helps if you are using energy saving light bulbs. The best ones to use are LED Lightbulbs.

2. Walk or Bike to your short trip destinations.- you won’t waste gas going on short trip destinations. It’s a great way to exercise.

3. Use a reusable water bottle.- using a reusable water bottle will allow you to save money and the environment.

4. Drive Efficiently.- use the accelerator lightly, stay near the speed limit, and instead of wasting gas in a drive thru, go inside.

5. Recycle or Repurpose.- if you do not need certain items in your house it is best that you donate them to thrift shops or sell them in a yard sale.

6. Turn off the heat and AC when you are not home.- just turn it off it’s still going to be there when you get home.

7. Eat lower on the food chain. Eat fruits and vegetables that are in season. Reduce how much red meat you eat, if you consume too much red meat it can cause bowel cancer. NO MORE RED MEATS!!!! NO MORE RED MEATS!!!! Red meat includes: beef, lamb and mutton, pork, veal, venison, and goat. ( if your culture takes part in eating any red meats you are not the targeted audience)

 8. Use cleaning products that benefit our health and our environment. Eco-friendly cleaning alternatives are baking soda, borax, unscented soaps, washing soda, cornstarch, lemon, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.
