We would like Amazon to follow the likes of Google and Facebook in closing down their corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA.

Even though Amazon has advised everyone to work from home, this is only subject to anyone who's job allows them the ability to do so. Today is the start of Washington State's order to shelter at home, but Over 1000's Amazon contractors are still on campus having been deemed essential by Amazon HQ.

Why should you care?
Amazon contractors are the team that keeps Amazon HQ operational, from cleaners to receptionists, they all have family and friends to go home to and they all interact with each other. Since the work from home advice has been giving the buildings they work in are practically empty with only contractors in them, but still Covid-19 is spreading and until Amazon close their HQ they will spread the virus to each other and this wont stop when Amazon or WA tell people to go back to work. Contractors will still be spreading this to other Amazonians and their family's.

The only way to stop the spread is to close the campus down, you might think this is a step to far as Amazon is still providing essential items for people, but other companies even ones that provide similar services around the world, have closed their campus down and still kept the logistical part of their business' running.

Everyone needs to do their part in this pandemic, Amazon made reportedly over $70 Billion last year and paid hardly any (if any) tax. They can afford to send these contractors home with full pay to help protect their and their family's health.

Amazon close down your campus to help your community!
