NH residents are being faced with too many tax increases, at the state, county, local and federal levels. NH residents are being faced with the 4 cent/gal NH gas tax increase, then those in Hillsborough Co. are going to be faced with a 3.8% county property tax increase, now on top a 12 cent/gal Fed gas tax increase.... I say no to this we are being taxed enough already.

The State of NH gas tax increase of 4 cents per gallon is enougn already. For the Federal Gov. to ask for another 12 cents would mean NH residents will see 16 cent per gallon more at the pump. Just too much as most of us live in rural areas and need to commute for work. It will go over the top for people on fixed or low incomes. Then residents in Hillsboro Co. have to deal with a Co. property tax increase on top. When is it enough.... where is the government accountability for what they are asking for and the spending of these funds.

High gas prices were the last straw in 2008 which began the failings of individual homes to keep up with the already barely affordable costs of living. Gas prices hurt everyone!
