Dundee Needs a Mental Health Crisis Centre

Dundee Needs a Mental Health Crisis Centre

3 years ago, Labour started a campaign for a mental health crisis centre in Dundee.
At the time, the idea of a crisis centre got a lot of support. The First Minster said it should happen and several “summit” meetings with the SNP in Dundee made commitments.
3 years on, nothing has happened.
The local health partnership must open a crisis centre in Dundee, offering emergency support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week where people can self-refer, as soon as possible. The Crisis Centre would provide access to counsellors and support in a home-like environment allowing people time and space to seek appropriate help.
People in Dundee need this service; especially our young people.
Edinburgh and Glasgow have modern and personal services like this. Why not Dundee? Dundee needs a Mental Health Crisis Centre, urgently. Please add your voice by signing this petition to make this happen soon.
