In 2019 alone an estimated 1.38million people tried to commit suicide, and 19% of those people were members of the LBTQIA+ community. That may not seem like a lot but that is roughly 262,200 people. The real issue is some people claim that being gay is a choice or something you can decide but evidence proves that being queer is not a choice and it is not something a person can choose. Thousands of youth in America are getting told this every day. Being gay is a completely natural thing and should not result in discrimination.
