Dear Millburn/Short Hills Resident:

I am reaching out to update you on my latest conversation with JCP&L regarding the status of their power restoration efforts in your area.

I have been advised by JCP&L that they have been successful in restoring much of the power in your area and expect to have the majority of affected homes restored by the end of today, November 9, 2012. I have been working tirelessly to ensure your power is being restored as quickly as possible, especially to Hartshorn Elementary School so children will be able to return to school on Monday.

I understand that may be of little comfort to you as you are again being asked by the utility to be patient at a time when results are long overdue. Please know that as you continue to deal with these difficulties you are encouraged to contact my office for any additional assistance or information that I or my staff can provide or to make me aware of any outages that have continued beyond the timetable provided.

Sincerely,
Richard J. Codey
