Recently in college the entrance doors of the toilets have been nailed open. I believe this is a breech of our privacy and the nails should be removed. Furthermore, there is a huge double standard where students are told that the skorts are inappropriate and distracting for the school’s male population; this recent development is not appropriate in the slightest. Often people get changed in the toilets as they have extra curricular activities in or after school, now the doors are open it gives 0 privacy and any male faculty would be able to see. 

From my own knowledge I know this new change has made many students (especially those in the older years) feel uneasy as this kind of thing would not happen in a real world working environment.In the art department the girls toilet is right next to the VIC toilets and classrooms which students find inappropriate, this is also the case in the Barton toilets where the staff bathroom is directly next to the girls toilets. I appreciate the doors were kept open for ventilation during covid times however with the recent lifting of the restrictions means ventilation is not necessary.
