The Montlake Boulevard Market is a great part of Seattle. For those who live in the community, it is a convenient place to shop, for students in the area it is a great place to get food, and overall it is essential to the neighborhood. I have been going since before it was called the Montlake Boulevard Market, and I know that it would be sorely missed by both students and local families. We need to convince WSDOT and Governor Inslee not to demolish this as part of their plan for SR 520. WSDOT needs to understand the importance of the market and how its demolition would devastate the Montlake neighborhood.
