Restaurant employees are essential workers and are on the front lines working during the pandemic. Therefore, they should be deemed eligible to receive the COVID vaccine. They are exposed to groups of people for periods of time, inside, and to customers eating without masks! Governor Jay Inslee, this is a public health safety issue, and the public also would feel safer patronizing these establishments knowing workers were vaccinated. It will also help support the restaurant industry which has been struggling to stay alive, and also promote quality assured health standards. This is a glaring fact that restaurant employees were left out of the latest phase, please make an amendment which you have the power to do. I will feel safer eating inside once I know more people are getting vaccinated. I urge you to make change by signing this petition.
