Billiards reinstated in phase 2 for Washington

0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,000!

On July 30, 2020 pool was added to the list of restrictions in Washington state. I am creating this petition with the goal of getting Governor Inslee to reconsider and allow pool in phase 2 with guidelines for a safe start plan.

While this pandemic does make some activities a challenge, billiards is one that can be done safely with some simple safety guidelines put in place to prevent the risk of COVID-19.

Rent the tables per hour to a group of 4 or less from the same household.
Masks must be worn while standing or at the table taking your turn.
6’ distance from other patrons should be maintained at all times.
All pool equipment should be kept behind the bar & sanitized between groups. Including but not limited to cues, chalk, balls, &  triangle. Bringing your own equipment should be encouraged.
Between groups the seating area along with the pool table & the felt should be sanitized. (Yes, I did find an antibacterial cleaner that did not harm the felt)

I know for my business & many like mine, it is the difference between losing money & staying afloat. We still get multiple calls daily, almost 4 weeks after pool has been banned. Please take a moment to help us get back to “mask up so we can rack up” by signing this petition &/or sharing it.

It has been brought to my attention that when signing, it will ask you if you want to chip in. The money you donate goes to change.org to keep their platform up & running for anyone trying to make a change. For every $10 donated they put the petition in front of an average of 1000 people.
