We at Kalispell Regional North are committed to patient safety and care.  We believe that part of the great care we give is utilizing the SBAR hand off tool.  This tool stemmed from evidence based research which is the gold standard for patient safety.  We feel if this tool goes away that patient safety will be diminished and mistakes along with vital information will be missed. We understand that blending between facilities needs to happen, but believe that this hand off tool should not be sacrificed.
