Greetings Albertan's who enjoy our Alberta Parks,

Jason Nixon needs to completely back track his plan on parks - this came out of nowhere and its one of the things I really enjoy as an Albertan. I can vouch for many when I say "We were blindsided".  

At a time of limited opportunities in this province, one of the truly accessible things that we do have is our provincial parks. This is our spot to get away from it all. To shut down 164 parks partially or to stop grooming in certain areas, makes no sense. I cannot see these cuts making anything better for Albertans.  Raising the fees - we can work on that. However, this overreach is something I cannot support. Albertans do not want accessibility to our world class parks to be cut off.

If the Government wants to make changes, they need to CONSULT with Albertans first, one park at a time. This feels like too much.
