Once we light the carbon emissions bomb of tar sands, we can kiss our kids' futures on a viable planet goodbye FOREVER. LEAVE FOSSIL FUELS IN THE GROUND FROM NOW ON!!

Jason Kenney and the UCP party are as destructive and dangerous to the environment as the Trump administration. Shame on this party for being so short sighted in this continued push to dig up the land in order to haul up every last bit of available fossil fuel. Once the diggers and drillers start there is no going back. The damage is done. Why doesn't Kenney spend more time looking to transition Alberta into researching, developing and manufacturing green/sustainable energy and become a beacon for the rest of the world to follow. I grew up in Alberta and my fondest memories are of enjoying the pristine landscape that all parts of Alberta has to offer. I find it abhorrent that this party and its leader continue to push dirty energy that most every part of the developing world are turning their backs on. It's shameful!

Our province has been doing things the wrong way for too long. And it’s not the oil companies who will pay the price if they aren’t stopped.

This isn’t something that should of been taken away. Everyone essential is managing during covid, you can’t tell me a pizza guy is more essential than those making sure the environment is safe

The environment is critically important. The government should be focusing on climate change initiatives. Many species are at risk. A lack of consultation with First Nations communities is problematic.
