Honeybees are becoming extint.  Millions are spent on highway maintenance.  What do these two things have to do each other other?  Can both problems be solved with one simple solution?  YES, they can!  If all highway embankments were planted with wildflowers there would be far less maintenance cost and it would create a new restored habitat for bees.

What are some of the other benefits?  Beautify the city.  Potential increase to tourism.  Honey contracts and revenue?  Increased benefits to the green economy and climate change.  Reduced emissions from mowing.
