Oppose House Bill 1684

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

The passing of House Bill 1684 abolishing licensure and regulation for SLPs in Texas removes all accountability and best practice assurance for services rendered to infants, children, and adults with speech, language, cognitive communication, and feeding/swallowing disorder within our state. Affiliation with our national organization, The American Speech Hearing and Language Association (ASHA) is voluntary and does not ensure that all SLPs within Texas would practice ethically if our state regulations were removed.
