Blood is a first-person shooter video game developed by a company called Monolith Productions and published by GT Interactive Software. The shareware version was released for the PC on March 5, 1997, while the full version was released on May 31, 1997 in North America, and June 20, 1997 in Europe.
Many feel that Blood was easily the best of the three major Build engine games, voicing the opinion that Blood was "one of the most underrated shooters of the whole decade” and that “Blood took its gameplay to sophisticated new heights and offered referential overtones with an even greater degree of refinement (than other similar games of the period.)"
The Goal of this petition is to bring attention of as many Blood fans as possible, To help encouraging Jace Hall starting his Blood Crowd-funding Campaign, It is simply a Masterpiece that must not die so easily, Over years Blood Community was very active, Releasing different kinds of modifications for Both One Unit Whole Blood and Blood 2 The Chosen, but due to lack of support from Original developers who still got the Source code of the game, the Modding was limited and Multiplayer died and Blood couldn't be as strong as communities like Doom community, With a Source port that can truly bring back the Multiplayer and compatibility for Modern Operating systems this would be great to make the Blood franchise Live again .
Or maybe even a Blood Remake that keeps what made the old games great and brings it back to the 21st century and even evolve to an eSport! , With enough signs and people willing to revive the Franchise, The Message should reach Jason Hall so he can start his Crowd-funding campaign that will help bring back the Creepiest and best of Build games "One Unit Whole Blood" .
