Fix the Moffat beach traffic light rules. Roderick street and southbound Buccleugh St.

Fix the Moffat beach traffic light rules. Roderick street and southbound Buccleugh St.
In regards to the recent Buccleugh Street & Roderick Street, Moffatt - TIM2103804R - Intersection Upgrade.
Jason hall - Sunshine Coast council’s Traffic Signals Technical Officer has approved the removal of the of the straight ahead arrow from the right hand lane heading south on buccleugh St and has this lane as a right hand turn only.
90 % of the traffic heading south are either trying to turn left into Roderick street or go straight ahead onto Buccleugh st and into Caloundra. Making this right hand lane a right turning lane only is ludicrous as only 10% ( or less) of the traffic will be needing to turn right.
Already this has caused so many near accidents and frustrations for many motorists.
During peek time the traffic is backed up to Dicky beach shops as everyone is sitting in the left hand lane.
Also making it impossible for motorists to enter into the traffic from the Moffat beach post office or the Moffat beach shops.
SOLUTION:
No right turn from southbound Buccleugh St into Roderick St (west) makes more sense.
Go past, then right turn at Nothling and double back removes all the congestion.
PLEASE sign this petition to send to Jason Hall, Jason Hunt local MP and Major Mark Jamieson to have fixed and resolved.
From a local Dicky beach resident who uses this intersection multiple times each day.
