Build Wedgeworth Elementary a permanent school building!

Wedgeworth Elementary School has been known as a portable trailer school for more than 50 years. With a rapidly growing student population, over the years Wedgeworth has outgrown its size. More portables come each year, and as a result, playground space has decreased. More importantly, the old infrastructures of our portables makes it a huge challenge for our students to learn and function. Being a National Blue Ribbon school, we have more students enrolling, yet, we do not have enough space to expand. We need a permanent school! 50 years is enough!
Action petitioned for: We, the undersigned, Hacienda La Puente Unified School District parents, residents, and community members support the sale of La Subida and all other surplus properties of the District to get the funds to build a permanent school for Wedgeworth.
