Humanigen has produced a drug called Lenzilumab which has been proven to help those with severe disease. Humanigen applied for Emergency Use Authorization for the drug almost 3 months ago. The FDA has never taken much longer than 30 days to approve drugs for covid yet has not approved or stated any information on the drug in almost 80 days. We need this drug now. Hawaii, with 86% of adults receiving at least one vaccination dose, and an active mask mandate in effect for 479 days with 98% compliance, announced today that they’re going back into lockdown, with capacity restrictions, distancing, etc. This is just one state. We are doing everything we can and it is not enough. Withholding a treatment that is known to help is a crime. Help save our relatives today. You never know, it could be your life you save.
